Looking really good so far. Good starting pitching, hitters making lots of contact, our 2 true freshman already look like the real deal.
Bullpen is easily the biggest concern so far. That’s where George Mason is getting basically all their runs.

So it’s basically the exact same as every other Oregon team under Wasikowski?

I think it’s too early to tell, but has definitely been the weakest link this weekend. It’s a four game series as opposed to three. So we’re spreading out arms more than normal and it’s everyone’s first game. Lots of young guys with potential and they haven’t let the starters go as long as they will in league play. Still haven’t seen two of the better arms in Featherston and Twist. I think it’s at least going to be a good improvement over the past few years. It’s a shame though they wasted the few years with bad bullpens.

Ya doesn’t help we lost two key bullpen guys to transfer portal.
Overall, a great series win for the ducks! Outside of the bullpen, the only other negative was the play of Miranda. He struggled to put much of anything into play.
Oh and our bench hitting depth seems a little weak too. Cool really struggled.
