Yeah, it's my understanding that the dropping of UNC WASN'T the good news. That it was more of just an extra bonus.
The "good news" was said to be better than the bad news -- which hasn't even been confirmed that it was Grant leaving, although that's a pretty solid assumption.
So according to the source, whatever the "good news" is, it's better than the bad of Grant leaving...

I hear that the source of the good news just saved a bunch of money on his car insurance.

Does your source look like a lizard?

What good news? Where did this come from? Until someone can confirm anything it's just rumor.

Im almost positive that the "good news" on rivals isnt about Lattimore eliminating UNC. If I had to guess its about at least two four stars committing.

I believe that was DT's good news last night if I read the posts correctly. The good news is most certainly a commit, though I think its on the defensive side.

A lot of decisions will be during the AAA game, so I'm not sure what the good news couild be other than Troy Hill who is planning to decide this week (I think even tomorrow).
Dunno though.

Wish that darn AAA game wasn't a month away! I love the energy that recruiting news brings to this board.

Imagine the recruiting buzz we could still have if we win the Rose Bowl. There are a ton of recruits playing in the AAA game that are heavily considering Oregon. A win in the Rose Bowl could really help us maintain or even gain momentum for their commitments.

I want to see Kenny Rowe and Eddie Pleasant in TP's grill all day long...
If that doesn't get a defensive recruit's blood boiling, nothing will.

According to TK1 the good news has nothing to do with a commit.

According to duckterritory, their "good news" was not about a commit.
However, according to rivals, members on our site are claiming they have "good news" which seems to be a commit.
I'm not a rivals member, so I don't know what they are claiming.

They aren't giving out names on Rivals right now at the request of the family of at least one commit. Not sure if there are other commits, but my guess is there are and they just aren't ready to announce just yet for one reason or another.

Just curious...I understand and respect the wishes of the players and families not to be named...but if you commit for a program, why would you want to wait til the AAA game or signing day to come out about it?

Wow, now you really have me confused... Hmmm, not about a commit, could the good news be about a transfer?

Maybe they like the publicity and attention? Would be pretty normal of an 18 year old to want to be on TV when he makes his pick.
