A concussion that goes over two months, when the MRI and other stats show no damage? I get there won’t be a Natty to play for. But, who pays his NIL money? Does injury insurance cover it? Not trying to play conspiracy theorist, but kind of, just to have someone explain the possible nuances. I don’t disbelieve Dan’s press statement, but I also smell a little coach-speak lately on this subject.
I don't think anyone but Dante, the medical specialists, and the coaching staff know how bad his injury was. They obviously see something in his MRIs and other cognitive tests that show he's not ready to play in a game. I think it may be something similar to what has happened to former Oregon star Satou Sabally in the last year. She suffered a severe neck and head injury in the WNBA Finals last year and she kept feeling lingering effects into this season with the Liberty before finally shutting it down to focus on her recovery.

I would think it's the O-Line. The lack of protection could result in another injury and I can understand him not wanting to take the risk.

Regarding Raiola, I'm not sure the kid is as bad as he's looked. The struggles with protection and a mediocre running game have had the kid constantly under pressure. The O-Line is making him look worse than he really is.

A new QB won't do much good next year unless the O-Line can be strengthened.

Hadn’t considered it at all. But after watching some podcasts on Dante, does anyone think Dante could transfer if he doesn’t go pro? Indiana? Notre Lame, if Carr leaves? Obviously money hasn’t been the biggest factor for him. And he wouldn’t have to deal with a new OC, and sh*tty O-line (unless major moves in the portal, and a great OC hire). Never really considered him not going to the NFL, and transferring. I’m sure he would certainly be a wanted commodity to other contending schools.
