During D.Jordan's recruitment, he was highly regarded as a flex between TE/WR.
Drew Davis rated #38 WR.
Finley was recruited in 2004 and were in 2009, that's 5 years ago . He actually commited to Oregon in 2001. I said within the last 3-4 years of recruiting.
Cameron Colvin 2003.
The only "high calibur" players that we have gotten since 2004 is Derrick Jones/Jamere Holland and they were both JC's
Scott and Davis are debateable. They were 4 star guys, but weren't on the level of someone like Colvin. I would agree that in the last few years, we have struggled to bring in "big time" wide receivers. Maybe it's because we are more "run oriented", who knows!!!!!

I believe NCDucks was referring to dthomas=ddixon's assertion that we haven't historically recruited high-caliber WRs, so his post was justified in that regard.
Your post, however; isn't very well researched.
Colvin was recruited in 2004, not 2003. Davis was regarded as the best WR in the West by Greg Biggins and had a bunch of high quality offers to prove it. Both Derrick Jones and Jamere Holland never attended JC. They both came straight from USC. Jones was actually re-recruited after not being deemed eligible at USC, so he counts as a player recruited instead of a transfer. And Dion Jordan was actually very highly recruited and Terence Scott was a 4* JC. Nice try though.

How is it debateable that Scott and Davis were considered high-caliber recruits? The point wasn't whether we were failing at recruiting top 3 WR, 5* star recruits. The point someone was "trying" to make was that we haven't historically recruited high-caliber WR recruits. And it's a patently false claim as the facts prove.

Nice implication not that it has merit. You seem to like to dish it out but you don't seem capable of taking it. So you resort to making things up.
On a scale of 1-10 with one being "my slushie fell on the ground" and ten being "my arms got stuck in an auger", I'd say the seriousness level in this conversation would a one.
