No I don't know what the issue is and I don't want to speculate, it's his business.
Hmmmm....if it isn't academics, I wonder if it has something to do with his "past."

You mean like bringing a realistic looking pellet gun onto a high school campus.

Hopefully he is a kid that learns from his mistakes.

Scroll down near the bottom and read the article title GA: Coach talks student into giving up fun.
Sound like the kid may have a bit of temper, or at least he used too.

Remember, that was 3 1/2 years ago and he was a Jr. in high school. Not saying we give him a complete pass...but maybe a little slack.

I hope people get a pass for being stupid at 16 years old, or I am screwed.

You can say that over and over again and it still wouldn't be true enough! I'm surprised I survived being 16 through 19....

He must have had formal charges at some point otherwise the NCAA would have no business in the matter. Of course that's all speculation and I have no clue if it was even this event that they are looking at.

Just coming from one unnamed source, I'm skeptical that's true. I doubt MB would've said he's ours if he wasn't. I'm not worried... yet

Looks like Gaines changed his mind. When several people around him are confirming that he is uncommitted then I tend to believe it. He probably is using the qualifying issues to try to save some face. Or it could be the opposite maybe he is telling everyone he is uncommitted because he is embarrassed he hasn't qualified yet. I am going with he changed his mind and is using the qualifying issues as an excuse. If he was committed to Oregon he would say he is going to Oregon, end of story.

Several? Who else has said that? The only talk about that I've heard was in that link where it was just one unnamed source.
