I don't think that we will have to worry about Butler. At most he will be at games once or twice a year.
I think that we are the team to beat though. If Bryce doesn't like Whipple, he still has connections here at Oregon and he loves our coaching staff. My only worry is Tenn because it is still close to Florida and the sparkles of Kiffin haven't had time to dull. Also, we have the best O line coach in the country and get consistent talent on the line. Tenn is the only other team associated with him that will be able to bring in O line talent that he wants.
USC has no family or friends connections and has a circus of a backfield. Who knows, maybe Petey showed him the gameday simulation and he loved it .
Here is a link to a ESPN clip from yesturday. It does not mention that Brown decommitted. Luginbil does believe that by not signing with Miami yesturday that it is less likely that he will now. We will see. I am not sure that Brown has any idea of what he wants to do now.
Apparently he is visiting Tennessee, and the fans on that board already have 200 posts about it in one day basically. If you skim through that thread, they believe their chances are 50%, 50% Miami. They seem to think Oregon is out of it now, but I don't think Bryce has ever said that. Just hope he doesn't drink the Kiffin kool-aid.
At this juncture, I am REALLY tired of the Circus. I know Butler wants to keep Bryce's name in the media, but I'm bored with his game. In public relations, there comes a time when you have to realize when the cut off point is. I think it's right about...............now. The longer you try to stay in the spotlight and drag everything out, the faster your stock drops. I prefer to move on & concentrate on those players that were standing by the fax machine first thing yesterday morning anxious to send in their LOI. Those are the kids I want on my team.

He's not a big Whipple fan, and Miami missed on every OL Bryce was keeping an eye on. We are solid and Miami is shooting themselves in the foot here. USC I don't think steals this one. But I'd watch out for KState or Tenn on a surprise.
Hang tight we are in this, and the Brian Butler deal is his own thing, not really a reflection on Bryce himself as he is a pretty solid young man, we'd be lucky to have him.
I'd be absolutely shocked if he goes to KS. If he's watching where recruits are going, he can't be too impressed with a class ranked #111 out of 120 by Scout (21 recruits, 2.05 ave., one 3 star, others all lower). He is going to need support to maximize his potential.
BB is a smart kid it's the Butler idiot who is making him look bad. I think we have the best chance we've ever had, RIGHT NOW. I think UM may be out of it with him decommitting, he can visit Tenn & K state, I don't care. He has an established relationship with Chip & I think that ultimately brings him to Eugene.
