NCAA rules are the rules no matter how unfair or screwed up the are.
I definitely agree they need to change but why allow group of college players to get away with it and everyone else has to abide by them.

Because its not being enforced anywhere else. This happens at every single school.

It might and probably does but, if the NCAA finds out they will get the same treatment.

No one will draft him, what good would it be for him to leave.

To improve his draft stock, which is why he went to OSU in the first place; play in a pro style offense. I don't see a whole lot of teams jumping on TP with Luck and Newton seemingly both first round locks. Mallett and Locker are both better than TP (Yea, yea, let me hear it)

If he comes out next year its Matt Barkely, Nick Foles and probably Kellen Moore that he's positioning against. With next season looking like rookie contracts will go down significantly, it will be even more important to grade out high and that certainly won't be the case this year.

Some of these rules may be petty and stupid but the schools go over the rules ad nauseum to make sure the kids know them and keep out of trouble. The idea that they weren't suspended for the Sugar Bowl game because "the NCAA determined they did not receive adequate rules education during the time period the violations occurred" is ridiculous.

made the rules so stringent on them yet the NCAA just keep hauling it in.

Actually, I think Pryor is better than Locker. He's just as good of an athlete, if not better, but he hasn't gotten to show it as much in their offense, just like Sarkisian has put the clamps on Locker. He's also got a better arm than Locker. I'd say they both go between round 2-4.

College football is a business and as such should have to follow common business/labor laws.

Fine, pay them $7.25/hr for their game time and practice time, take out taxes, and then make them pay for their own tuition. Seems fair.

Nice idea, but wouldn't Chung, who entered Oregon at the age of 16, have fallen under Federal Child Labor Protection Laws?
