Hearing ESPN ask Harbaugh about the future of his coaching career during the trophy ceremony was low. Then again, I'm not totally surprised by it.

Note: I'm not downplaying Stanford or any of that crap, they looked rough in the beginning then turned it up and opened a good ol' fashioned beating.

Man if we played Stanford again, that would be an insanely tough game. I think Auburn, Alabama, and Stanford are the three times I wouldn't want to play in a championship. I think Oregon would beat any other team. Oklahoma also scares me.

Anyway, no surprise Stanford waxed V-tech, the Cardinal are one of the best teams in the nation.

I don't really get this mentality from a lot of Duck fans. I expect it from the SEC homers at espn but Duck fans should be a lot more confident in this team & what we've accomplished. We were down 21-3, almost completely because of turnovers in our own territory that gave Furd short drives, then outscored them 49-10 in the next 3 quarters. Furd was playing just as good as they are now leading up to our game against them too shutting out UCLA & just crushing Wake. So the whole "Well oregon got them before they caught fire" is a bunch of garbage. The same people that were saying that couldn't stop themselves from drooling all over Furd & their "physical dominance" leading up to the game. Like always, we just got lucky. Luck didn't have a good game, their D hadn't quite figured things out yet, etc, etc.

When Okie St was beating Zona Craig James couldn't contain his excitement for Auburn & how Zona getting crushed was a really good sign that Oregon wasn't going to be a able to handle Auburn. Two dominating Pac10 victories later & not a peep. I personally feel even better about our game. We're the team we think we are. We can play with anyone & a dominating victory by Alabama over a Mich St team that didn't play ANYONE all year isn't going to change that. Furd is one of the best teams in the country. And we're a lot better than they are. 52-31 say so.

We're just not used to having a team this good. In past years when Oregon had a good team, you always had a feeling that they would slip up sooner or later, which always did. I think we just have to get over being so gunshy about having a good team that could win it all and not feel like something is going to go wrong.

Agree I don't understand why everyone thinks Stanford is so much better now than when we played. Fact is they aren't it's just that UO and Stanford are this good and the Pac-10 was this good just 7-8 teams where very close and beat each other up. Stanford beat SC by 2 and should have lost, ASU had them but gave up a late TD to lose 17-13, WSU played them tough and lost by 10. And all of those games where after they played UO.

Speaking of crazy, is ASU the best team maybe ever to not get a bowl invite? The lost by 1 at Wisconsin, should have beat Stanford and played us very tough. They had 3 top 10 teams on the ropes only to let them off in the 4th quarter.

For me, it has more to do with us beating Stanford at home, more than Stanford improving since we last played them. If we played Stanford on the road or at a neutral field, they would have been really hard to beat. It was a good year to have Stanford visiting Autzen.

I'm sure glad that that kid Skov (LB) decided to have a career night against V Tech... That kid was EVERYWHERE...on defense....special teams...he was a demon possessed! J Harbaugh definately is recruiting well on both sides of the ball......NO doubt!
