Man that feels good. Plus its nice being right haha. Great win against a more talented team, especially after all the crowing from corvallis this week. I hope that dominating 2 game win streak was fun while it lasted beevs.

Beevs have some really nice young guards, but I think they're the one team that we might actually have an advantage over on the front line. Their bigs look like stiffs and were neutralized by our zone. Our guys did a pretty goo job keeping them off the offensive boards.

Yeah guess dthomasdixon was right. Our defense was actually better than the Beaver's defense. Goes to show how good of a coach Altman really is.
Good shooting today too. Sim and Singler were stroking it.

I was worried that the beavers 1-3-1 defense would give
the ducks fits. Ernie's team last two years couldn't handle
it. Altman had this team well prepared for it. Didn't bother
them at all. Catron back helped. Oregon also shot the ball better.
They bothered the beavers on defense And played pretty smart
after the beavers got back into it. If this team continues to shoot
the ball better they will get wins. They play very very hard.
I really like the way Altman's teams play. He and his staff have
really got these kids believing that through hard work and to play
with in the systems they can do it. The beavers were the team not
playing with in Robinsons system.
Several things have gotten much better. I think Sim is starting
to play better. His shooting has Improved alot. Just a confidence thing
and i think Armstead has started to play better along with Strowbridge.
Oregon when they have a team of shooters and some size that can
run and play d will be a team to reckon with in the PAC12.

Sim has really started to play well since the UW/WSU road games. Hopefully he can continue and prove some of the Sim haters wrong.

One thing I noticed was Altman had Singler set back picks on the guy pressing in the middle of the court freeing up our are ball handler.
Something so simple that escaped EK....... Of course it also helps having Loyd back there handling the ball instead of Porter (yuck)

Sim is an adequate player..... for a team below 500....
You can say that about most of the guys on this team though.

Dana Altman is a really good coach. This is arguably the least talented team that Oregon has had in the past 15 years. What Altman has done with this crippled roster is pretty amazing. I can't wait until next season.
I hope OSU gives Craig Robinson a lifetime extension....

Couldn't agree more, with both points.

Kent couldn't even beat Robinson last year with a full roster so I think that Altman is already showing he can outcoach him. The players are getting better as the season has progressed. Except for the lulls late in the first half and early second half, the team looks so much better than when they first started. Altman will have the program righted in a year or two once he gets the roster full and everyone buying into his system.

Great win by Dana and the guys, the defense sure did look great I thought. I like Dana's coaching style, and am looking foward to this years team improving throughout the year. I can only imagine when he gets his own players how good they will be in the conference, hopefully it will still be a down conference. Great day for the ducks, and just like football beating the beavers at their house.

I really like how Altman makes no excuses when they
lose and praises his kids when they win. He takes all the
blame when they lose and works hard to improve. He really
is a classy guy who cares about his team. Wasn't sold on the
idea of his hire at first. But I am now. Think we have a great coach
who is the perfect fit here. You can already see his recruiting also
in Jonathon Lloyd. That kid will be one of the best point guards we
have had when he's finished playing. And I'd take few Tyrone Nared's
to go with him...
