They seem to let their foot off the pedal a bit and relax, which isn't the ideal pace and intensity for them to play.

Hopefully we can avoid the Lakers in the first round, though we could give them a nice run for their money anyways.

Less than a year. Cho seemed like he was doing a good job too. I liked the Wallace deal he pulled. Oh well, curious where we go from here.

Such a joke of a franchise they are becoming. What GM in their right mind would take a job where you are just a puppet for Allen, the Vulcans and Larry Miller? They'd just be a person to blame when things don't go right. Allen is right up there with Donald Sterling and Al Davis as worst owner in sports.

I don't know about Sterling/Davis status, but he's been making bad decisions of late. I can't wrap my head around this one though, I'm more disappointed than mad.

I guess Jordan and Charlotte hired Cho as their GM today. Interesting that he dealt for Wallace from Charlotte and ends up employed by them now.

Aside from that, who do the Blazers draft this year?

I think they have to get Kemba
I keep hearing that Portland wants the rights to him and just have him be our PG by year 2
C=Oden
PF=LA
SF=Wallace
SG=Roy and Co.
PG=Kemba

That's a solid team if everyone is healthy

I'm just not sure if he's the best fit for what they are trying to do. They really need someone who can run the offense and I'm just not sure Walker is that kind of PG. He's more of an undersized SG than a PG. I think they may try to stick with Eliott Williams as their PG of the future, but will more than likely try packaging some draft picks in a trade for a proven PG or sign one in free agency.

The San Antonio Spurs and Portland Trail Blazers nearly completed a blockbuster trade on Wednesday afternoon, but the deal fell apart in the late stages. San Antonio was prepared to ship Tony Parker and the #29 pick to Portland in exchange for Andre Miller, Nicolas Batum and the #21 pick. Other players would have been added in order to make salaries work. However, the deal died when the Spurs insisted that Richard Jefferson be included in the talks. Since San Antonio's attempt to add Jefferson, talks have quieted, but they could pick up tomorrow if one of these teams has a change of heart.

Something to keep an eye on for tommorrow, Gerald trade happen at the last minute so maybe there's still a chance.

This has got to be one of the most boring drafts in recent memories since there's really no marquee players outside the top 5 and the Blazers didn't fill their need in the post. I'm also not entirely sold on Felton and Smith coming in as PGs. I think that we'll probably see either Armon Johnson and Patty Mills gone to make room for Diebler, who they got in the 2nd round. The team is still very heavy in the 1-3 positions with no end in sight of the post depth problems.
