This banner was given to me several years ago. I never really had a use for it, so I broke it out today at my folk's place

AU, that is almost criminal coming from an Auburn fan, but I think today most everyone on this board is an LSU fan! I seriously hope its a massive LSU blow out and over by half time.

I don't know a single Auburn fan rooting for bama. After updyke and the garbage from them last year, you'd be hard pressed to find a fan rooting for them in any sport.

Much like the "roll ducks roll" t shirts and other garbage bama put out, AU fans have created various graphics. Not on t shirts, not taking it that far.



At any rate, I've always held LSU as my #2 team in the SEC. I've got some good friends that are LSU fans/alums and as long as AU(or Oregon) isn't playing them I'm pulling for them. I originally started out as a fan of their baseball team

They do have a great baseball program! Its just a difference in mentality from Pac to SEC. SEC teams will root for each other, Pac teams generally will not.

I, for one, do not have a problem with Bama. The one thing about the sec(I am in TN) is they root for their rivals(most of the time) if they play anyone outside the sec. I cant stand uw and I would never....ever...EVER fly one of their ass wipe flags in my house. Just sayin.

Don't get me wrong, I despise most of the SEC after all the crap they threw at us last year. Auburn has always been revered as a good team with a great atmosphere. Then we get a great QB and win out in the SEC, we become instantly hated. We had a better team in 2004, but the hate is strong now in teams that have no business wasting their time. Bama, UGA, and LSU, I can certainly understand. But arky, msu, ole, and uscjr, their sense of self entitlement comes out of left field.

I have zip loyalty to the SEC in OOC/bowl games anymore. In fact, I hope they all lose(except LSU).

it's apparent in watching the game that the Ducks are capable of beating anyone this year... alabama is playing lsu tough, but i hope the tigers will make some big plays in the second half

I agree. It wasn't a good game for the Ducks...I am sure LSU could say the same.
However with all the turnovers Oregon still scored pretty convincingly against LSU....Bama not so much.
This is why I would love a playoff.

In addition let's say Bama and LSU are indeed the top 2 in the nation. They would never get a chance to play for it all unless
they were seeded opposite eachother in a playoff bracket.

Bama 2 missed fg bite them hard in the ass.

Congratulations Bud. No doubt you guys were the best two teams playing.

About what I expected from the game: OT and it coming down to FGs.
