I got Hibbert on my fantasy team, he has 3 games with at least seven blocks and two more with five blocks.

pdx would be epic had they landed hibbert. paul george is better than anyone the blazers have, but Indy doesn't have a second option as good as lamarcus or lillard (whoever one considers pdx's second option to be). blazers wouldn't quite be as good as Indiana is defensively, but they'd be pretty damn good in their own right and the team would be much better offensively than the pacers currently are.

Anybody have ticket advice? Trying to get tickets to the Spurs-Blazers game in February, I'm hoping to get good tickets too, have to see Tim Duncan play up close.

Also, I know those won't go down well with Blazers fans, but I'm really starting to think the Finals will be Spurs-Pacers. I predicted that before the year, and I think the Spurs will beat the Blazers in 6 in the WCF and Pacers beat the Heat in 7 in the WCF (LeBron won't go out without a fight). NBA is going to be interesting this year!

As much as I hope I don't see blazers making conference finals, their be doing good to win one round. GO LEBRON!!!

haha yeah, portland isn't making the wcf. they're playing quite well, but the schedule has been soft. those wins over the spurs and bulls have been nice, but regular season home games don't really mean much, especially those played in november.

i don't think portland is better than san antonio, the clips, okc, houston, or golden state. things'll play out over the course of a season. after last season's 0-13 thud, though, it's just nice to pick up some wins.

Portland gets a big win against GS tonight, 113-101. They even did it shorthanded after losing Matthews and Mo Williams to ejections in the 3rd.

I think Spurs and OKC are the only clear cut contending teams out west... The clippers could join them. There's little to no seperation between teems 4-8.

Houston desperately needs to make some trades. Outside of Patrick Bevelry.. they probably have the worst defensive players on the perimeter among the potential playoff teams. Harden, Linn, Parsons, Jones, Caspi.. all of those guys are among the worst at their position.

GSW & Dallas have some of the worst bench players in the league. Memphis has almost no outside shooting.. Timberwolves are still the Timberwolves.

Obviously health plays a big factor in this.. but it wouldn't surprise me if the Blazers ended up with the 4th seed this year.

Big win tonight, espically without Mo and Wes. Wes is shooting over 50% on his 3s and is second behind Klay in 3's made and Damien is 3rd. Lamarcus took the game over after the ejections, even made nine straight ft's in the fourth when he usually struggles.

Also Aaron Brooks had 26 pts 6-7 on his 3s, and Terrence Jones had 18 and 10.

i think the spurs are the clear cut favorite through thanksgiving week. their defense and balance would give the thunder fits, who really don't have a consistent third option. durant and westbrook are great, ibaka is really good at what he does, but it's difficult to count on sefelosha and/or lamb on a nightly basis. i can't remember if it were this site or another, but i predicted a spurs/pacer final, and through the first month i'd say they're clearly the two best teams. and, being the only two teams in the association giving up less than 90/per, that finals would be david stern's WORST NIGHTMARE.

w/ the derrick rose news, indy might wrap up the central before 2014. merry christmas, pacers! speaking of the east at large, obviously miami (10-3) is right there, but after that? hawks are 8-6, bulls are 6-5 and dealing with a huge question mark.......... and nobody else in the conference is over .500.

how long do mike brown and jason kidd last? what massively disappointing starts in cleveland and brooklyn.

portland might end up getting homecourt (in the first round). i'm not saying it can't/won't happen. they're obviously playing really great right now. the balance is extraordinary, and robin lopez has far exceeded my expectations. it will be VERY interesting to see what happens when wesley matthews cools off. he's averaging 17.3/per on 56.2% shooting (52.5% from beyond the arc). few people have been as zeroed in as wes has in november, and portland couldn't ask for a better third option behind lamarcus/lillard. i think i heard he wasn't even nominated for the all star game this year, which is a JOKE if true. he's been the underlying force behind this 10-game run. best month of his career.
