Why do people keep saying LJ won't be good to go until midway through the season? I would like to see a link to this info.

That's just a gut feeling, most shoulder surgeries take a number of months to recover, I tore a labrum 2 years ago and that took me a good 10 months to rehab, obviously I didn't have access to what James does and we don't know how serious James' injury is but I would be shocked if he plays in the spring game and takes full contact in spring and summer camps.

S***... I just tore my labrum. SLAP lesion is what they called it. I'm so startled.

Tore it in both my shoulders 10-12 years ago doing flips on a knee board... Not fun.

Luckily, the right shoulder is able to be stabilized with a weight training regimen, but my surgeon (The same guy who rebuilt my right knee, as well as several of the Duck players over the last couple years, Rudy Hoellrich), tells me the left one needs to be surgically repaired... I don't look forward to the recovery process. It sounds more arduous amd time consuming than recovering from my full knee replacement!

Holy crap wounded!

I have played a lot of sports like many of you but have never hurt myself to badly that I needed surgery...

Good luck with any rehab you have to endure!

Actually, the flips were fun... It was the landings that sucked !

Word to the wise... 40+ year old men (Regardless of physical fitness...) should not water ski and knee board at speeds approaching 45-60 MPH. Sudden stops are just too, well... Sudden! (And those nice flexible joints you had as a 15 to 25 year old athlete have probably become far less resilient, for that matter!)

Would Brown's stock really be that valuable after his sophomore year? If we get him I don't think he would start over blount next year so he would only have one season as a starter if he left after two.

Blount has shown that you dont neend to be a starter to put up gawdy numbers in our offense. Brown would get plenty of carries.

If Bryce plays as a true freshman then he cant leave after his sophomore year.
