Oluwole Betiku Jr, a former 5* from USC. Plays OLB. Was hurt last year and hasn't played much before that. Could use the immediate depth at that position. Only played one year of football before college.

Not sure if there is any interest from him but someone who is rated a 5* after just one year of ball has to have a tremendous upside. Not to concerned about stats or lack there of. Lots of reasons why there are not any, game situations, schemes, situational player. Someone with his history and trying to evaluate him would probably be better off looking at production per play vs. per game. There should be enough tape to determine his progress from HS and then his first 2 seasons in college. Would he have 2 yrs left to play of just one?

Problem is, you don't have much time left to coach him up.

With the exception of Dallas Warmack what graduate transfers have had an impact on the Oregon football program? Neither Kano Dillon and Tabari Hines contributed anything exceptional, partially due to injuries. Scott Pagano wasn't on the field that much. Tim Hough didn't make it into school, went to Arizona and quit the team mid-season. Who am I forgetting that really contributed?

Long was a JuCo. He originally went to Florida State to play baseball, had a drinking problem, took some time off, went to JuCo, and came here with two years eligibility.

A new name has surfaced, Penn State grad transfer WR Juwan Johnson. 6'4" 225 had 25 catches for 350 yards last year. Penn State fans say he has awful hands, so he would fit right in with our WRs.

It's amazing at the amount of college WRs with bad hands.

Supposedly Juwan was dealing with an injury all season.

25 catches/350 yards still works out to 14 YPC.

So, you're saying he's consistent...

He was one of the highest rated preseason receivers this year, but the injury definitely affected him.
