Went to SNL event this year with my wife. DBs as a whole looked great. Johnny Wilson is impressive looking. Seven and Trey both looked really good. I think I came away most impressed with Kris Hutson. Kid destroyed the 3 cone drill like no one else there. His ability to flip directions on a dime was just awesome and he is very fast.

Thank you for the updates.

Geez, Wilson is huge. Like— wow. Juwan Johnson is a giant, but this guy is 17? I saw Johnny Wilson at the spring game, and I’m a good sized guy - but he just looked like a super human. 17 year olds aren’t supposed to look like that.

RE: Elijah Badger in the 24/7 article:

"ALPHA DOG
Folsom (Calif.) High four-star receiver Elijhah Badger worked at cornerback and showed why the Ducks are recruiting him as an athlete. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Badger took on the best pass catchers at the event in Johnny Wilson and Kris Hutson and more than held his own, grabbing a downfield pick against Wilson and trading reps with the uber-quick Hutson. Badger is raw at the position and garnered a lot of attention from Oregon cornerbacks coach Donte’ Williams throughout the event, but he has the athletic traits to play the position and showed supreme confidence as well seeking out the best guys at the camp. He also had interception in half smelly at the end of the event."

Huh?
Autzen Stadium... Where great teams go to die...Hard!

Seems strange that according to Steve Mims of the RG Williams was gone before the camp started.

Caleb Williams, a top 2021 quarterback recruit from Washington D.C., made a trip to Oregon this week but was gone by the time the camp got started.

“Oregon it’s been real,” he tweeted. “Until next time.”

So funny/interesting to see Bennett Williams on the Ducks' recruiting radar now. I advocated for him big-time over twitter two years ago, because as a high schooler he had some of the best ball skills and natural free safety instincts I had seen, and Oregon's safety performance of recent years has left a lot to be desired. The problem with Williams was/is that he runs probably a 4.7-4.8 40, so he's not a speed demon, and because of that he was lightly recruited and wound up at Illinois (where he continued to be a ballhawk and made plays).

I'd love to see Williams get an offer. He's a heck of a player.
