just college. There's more parity in the NFL throughout the entire league. You can pick up players in the middle of the season in the NFL. The playoff format in the NFL is rooted in tradition too.

I'm just here to remind everyone this scary Georgia defense* gave up 30 to Mississippi State last week, got steamrolled by Alabama, and rates 8th in the Southeastern Conference.

I'm not quite sure how you can mention parity and then say you don't want a 12 team playoff. If you want tradition, should college football just go back to when the polls decided 1 and 2 for the championship? It would be SEC vs SEC every year. Talk about a lack of parity

Where did I say I wanted parity? I just said there's more parity in the NFL which would make a playoff in that league more reasonable/understandable.
The cfb landscape has changed. I'll give you that. With conference realignment and NIL, it's hard to predict a "what could have been" if we went back to the BCS system. The current format is fine. It's a happy medium between maintaining tradition and giving a 3rd or 4th (undefeated) team a shot at a title. That's just my 2 cents of course.

XD you're right. there's no call now. that's a very odd sequence of events.

didn't realize they can reverse the DPI. And the officials did nothing about all the junk on the field. that's usually a flag.

That they overturned their call after 200 beer bottles with no flag was interesting.

I'm ready for a universal referee body, not conference refs.

Unfortunately the SEC bias cannot be stopped, LSU and A&M being ranked ahead of Indiana is proof of it, but at least more teams get opportunities now.

Kirby Smart going for it on his side of the field when Texas has barely a chance left was quite the boneheaded decision. I really don't know how to justify that one. And then of course it doesn't pay off.
