My only hope is that Ohio State broke the bank to get him and we didn't dupe ourselves into paying more for Jalen Lott as part of all this drama.

Yeah. Players should absolutely try to maximize their value. But they should also realize that re-opening bidding at the 11th-hour is not going to be viewed in a favorable light and could negatively impact their future earnings. (Some teams are going to pass on players with a history of drama).

Our receiver room will be really good going forward, but we don’t have that giant body receiver that can go get jumpballs consistently and Chris Henry Jr would’ve brought us that, so it’s a bummer we didn’t get him, but he was definitely more of a luxury than a need.

I was hoping Kasper was going to fit that bill. He hasn’t blossomed as hoped with lots of injuries. Do we think he’s really gone next year?

I would contend that we'll have that next year in Jamarri Johnson, Kendre Harrison and Vander Ploog.

Oh well. It was fun while it lasted. Unless Kasper stays, Oregon is likely going to be in the market for a bigger body WR. Will be interesting who they target in the portal.

I would agree to that, but the part that's honestly entertained me the most is seeing how much our coach, our team, and our fanbase are in the heads of Ohio State. It's pretty comical.

Are any Ohio State fans who bitched about Oregon's NIL criticizing their own program after absolutely upping Henry's NIL deal?
