A few things from the game. A real PG makes such a big difference in our system. With Armstead, I think we have a shot at finishing in the top half of the pac-10. Ernie's greatest years came with NBA PGs Ridnour and Brooks.

It also helps a lot to have a big body like Michael Dunigan finally being used correctly.

22 points 12 rebounds 5 blocks 2 steals on 8 for 11 shooting (OK 6 turnovers, but we'll led it slide).

Hell of a statline.

Being a 5'10 guy, who has no dribble, never made a contested lay-in in my life, and learned to shoot from 3 point range, because I had 2 brothers who were 6'8 and 6'6, respectively, I am not gonna argue with any of you.

It's painfully obvious to most here that Kent desperately needs a very good to great PG to succeed.

Wow what a good win. I can't figure this team out. Hopefully they can keep playing like this all thru Pac play. We'll see. Still would like a new coach next year. And man, about time for Dunigan. So glad to see him put it together for a whole game. Hope he can keep it up.

PG has long been the most important position in College BB, even more so than the center position. One of the biggest problems, amongst others, has been that Kent has tried to make Porter into a PG and he is not.

More of a problem was that Kent fell flat on his face trying to recruit a quality PG the last couple seasons.

Amazing how many quality point guards leave the Pacific NW to play elsewhere, in spite of Oregon's history with the few the Ducks have managed to sign.

Like many of you said porter is much better with a point guard playing along with him. Armstead really impressed me with his first pac 10 game and it being on the road too. Lets hope this is a sign for a big turnaround this season. Go Ducks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

6'6" and 6'8" Wounded 5'10" and you got the bad knee's, Nature is a cruel biotch!!!

I was faster and stronger, but I also ate a lot of swatted balls growing up.

Those 2 were in High School when I was in like the first/second grade... There buddies used to think it was funny to ask me to play, just to try making me quit.

I was the most bruised up kid in the neighborhood.

Strangely enough, that had nothing to do with the knee injuries.

Those came later.
