Sounds good man. I love those signing day surprisesduckfan2121 wrote:Ok I'll give you guys my info... The guy I was referring to earlier was Werner. A lot of you will be surprised come signing day, because there is a guy who is committed to us right now, that litterally nobody has even mentioned. You will all be pleasantly surprised.

It sounds like duckfan might be referring to Keenan Allen?

How did you get that from his post? Just curious, because he said there's a player committed to Oregon right now that no one has mentioned. It's seems unlikely that a recruit committed to a different school would also be committed to us. It's most likely someone who hasn't publicly decided. Unless duckfan dropped a tidbit I missed!TriDuck wrote:It sounds like duckfan might be referring to Keenan Allen?

Partially a gut feeling TK. Although there had been whispers about Allen possibly leaving Bama, and Allen definitely fits the criteria that Duckfan gave us. A high-profile recruit that no one here has been talking about lately...

Ivan McCartney would be my guess, but I have no clue who he could be talking about, hopefully Allen. Maybe he's talking about Ricky Heimuli? We haven't mentioned him around here for a while.TriDuck wrote:Partially a gut feeling TK. I will go with Jackson Jeffcoat. Since we are just throwing names out here.UOducksTK1 wrote:Ivan McCartney would be my guess, but I have no clue who he could be talking about, hopefully Allen. Baxter is a huge recruit we have, as once Masoli is gone we'll be devestated at QB. That guy's a scrambler and a great passer. Curtis White will take over Ed Dickson's spot wonderfully, I see great things coming from that guy.
Check out my take on the recruiting thus far:

Darron Thomas is offended. Bennett is hurt too.

Re: Poll: so...who are we gonna get?
Agreed. DT is a better passer and has way more touch on the ball than Masoli. DT could really be a DD v.2, when he learns the offense fully, gets some more game experience, and the action slows down for him.karlhungis wrote:

I think you'll see this year in any blowouts, that you'll see a lot of DT in the 4th quarter to build that experience.

Re: Poll: so...who are we gonna get?
I agree. I think on running plays with Darron Thomas you aren't going to see him bowl over players like JM, but run by them with his speed and avoid major hits, like Dennis Dixon. I'm not saying he's going to be just like him, but his style is very similar. The passing game will be emphasized more with DT because Kelly sort of allows Masoli to take a beating since he's built a little more sturdier than most QBs.NCDucks09 wrote:Agreed.
