Kelly has painted himself into a corner by being so harsh with Alonzo and Embry and Holland and who ever else got kicked off this off season.
Now Chip has No wiggle room at all, He has to kick JM and LMJ off the team if they are found guilty of anything. Or He will look like he is playing favorites to the star's.
It's unfortunate but I don't think we will see either of them again at Oregon!

I have been on the Darron Thomas bandwagon since Day 1 and love his throwing ability. While he isn't the running threat JM is, he can keep the defense at bay with his arm, something we didn't know Masoli would be able to do on a game by game basis. Some games he was lights out throwing the pigskin, others it was a turnover waiting to happen. This will be DT's 3rd year in the system and sets us up better for our NC run in 2011 when we have the favorable home schedule.

Costa has no business being the starter. He looked awful against UCLA and is way to immobile to run our offense. He is a nice insurance policy (see Leaf,Brady) but not someone I wanted running the show.

haha check this guy out...those are some pretty strong claims.. Don't put all your eggs in one basket

If true, then he deserves to be kicked off the team. Lying to the coach, in most people's books, is totally unacceptable.

Anyone watching the Seton Hall Notre Dame game? When giving their updates for sportscenter, ESPN led with the Masoli burglary story. Very sad.

No one gave me any grief.... but there were guys on here that took a lot of crap for posting information they had. Some people on here (and you know who you are) were being huge dicks the past few weeks when people would post info they had, and I think a few individuals should man up and apologize. I also think it's time to take it easy on the SAE fraternity now that charges have officially been filed.

Wow not a good year to be losing our starting QB and RB. This was probably going to be the most hyped team we've ever had. I mean we are talking about top 5 pre season rankings. Mehhhhh.

Masoli and LMA are idiots. I can't believe people will throw their football careers and possibly even school away just like nothing.

Peace Masoli. This will hurt our team, but DT or Costa time.

If you're going to throw this out there, why don't you be specific about who you are talking about?

And I disagree about the frat kids involved in this incident. They handled the situation poorly by contacting the media, calling the Ducks a bunch of hood-rats. Also, we still don't know the entire story. I think it's doubtful that Masoli would steal those items for money. It implies that there was some other altercation with the fraternity that motivated him to do this. Maybe the frat kids did something lame first and Masoli chose a stupid way to retaliate.

Masoli is done according to Moseley and it's because he lied to CK about his involvement in the theft. As for LMJ he is changing his plea to guilty, which makes me think that the prosecutor and LMJ's attorney worked out some kind of plea agreement. The big question is going to be whether or not CK gets rid of LMJ. I personally believe that CK has really backed himself into a corner because of the way he handled the Alonzo, Embry, and Holland situations, but with that being said I wouldn't be surprised to see LMJ get suspended for 4 games or so.

Depending on the facts of the LMJ case, I don't expect to lose him for the year. Hope Barner, Alston and the freshman can carry the load for 3-6 games.

As for Masoli if he's guilty he's gone.

So here's to a heated QB battle in the spring and summer, and hoping for Thomas to win out.

My apologizes to those who came on here with legit info, I figured you where right, but wanted to believe you guys where wrong.

Oh and CK did not back himself into a corner. Embry had been kicked off the team long before the alleged theft, and if you remember back to Dec of 2008, before the holiday bowl, MB came very close to booting Holland. Holland had a TON of chances, yet he just continued to mess up.
