Well, you're right. EJ was the 6A POTY his senior year. Wiley wasn't even his league MVP (although, I would argue, he should have shared the award with Brian Conklin instead of Markus Baker... but anyone who doesn't live in the area probably has no idea what I'm talking about). EJ was a better HS player, he'll be a better college player. He's just a better.

Wiley just needs to find a system that fits him, and a coach that will let him play.
Having seen both play in person and on film quite a bit, I'd compare Drew Wiley to Drew Viney with a slight edge to Wiley in my opinion. Viney did pretty well this year at LMU. I think Wiley has the same potential to breakout at another school.
Well I would disagree. Viney was a much better player than Wiley. You have to remember that when Viney was the UofO, he was hurt most of his time here. So how you could even compare that? Unless if your saying that a healthy Wiley is better than an injured Viney, then ya I'll agree with you there. Wiley was nothing more than Kent's attempt at finding another local player to be the next Marty Leunen. And Wiley failed!
As I said, it was seeing both play several times in person and on film, before any injuries occurred. I didn't say it was a huge advantage, just think he's got the same potential to breakout and be a consistent scorer in college. Don't think Viney is "much" better.
