We went from it’s hard to recruit to Oregon -Scott Frost. To it’s just like recruiting to any top school, just takes consistent work

I like Frost as a coach but I was wondering if that comment might come back to bite him. It'll be interesting to see how well Matt Rhule does at Nebraska now that Frost has been let go.

To be fair, that staff didn't have coaches that were perennial top 10 recruiters and the team didn't have that culture of recruiting as the bloodline of the program. If CMC or Lanning was the head coach while Frost was here, it'd be a completely different recruiting picture.

Frost is not a program changing coach on the recruiting front and that quote of his was just an excuse for one of his biggest shortcomings as a coach anywhere.

Frost didn’t have time to put into recruiting, he was busy chasing cheerleaders
