Oregon used to have a program that hosted these players on their recruiting visits and they tended to be some of the best-looking girls on campus. They put a stop to it once an expose highlighted the practice at other schools and the NCAA started investigating. This doesn't mean that it still doesn't happen at other universities. They have disguised it to make it legal.huckthefuskies wrote:You know it. This recruiting stud athletes thing is all good, but we need to start with some of them 5 star rival hostesses.

I am sure it does. Also look at it this way. If you are a tenn recruit you know that everyone will be ripping their shirts off.
Choice A- well respected offensive lineman
Choice B- Kiffens dad
Choice C- HOT BLONDE girl that might be interested in some of that fame and money in three years when you get drafted....
Choice B does sound enticing indeed.

I was probably too harsh.
I still hope UT loses every game b/c I feel they are shady and I've not lost all respect for Bryce..I hope he does well. I just think that Butler guy is yapping in his ear and he doesn't need that.
I do believe in God, but have a hard time thinking there was a sign that pointed out that UT was the place to be with that kind of coach..but it happened to him, no one was there, so we don't know.
So thankful this process is over.

Hopefully that hostess didn't have any impact on his decision. Some slut is going to influence whether you go to school? Tennessee fans were saying she was the same "hostess" that was on top of another top prospect Nu'keese Richardson (figuratively and literally I presume). They did the whole facebook marriage thing as well. She'll probably be on to the next big Tennessee recruit a couple weeks from now. Is prostitution legal in Tennessee? She essentially is being whored out by the school.

OK, I will actually be serious for this one post. In all fairness to these kids-
Everything they say or do will be scrutinised 1000X and spun to mean different things. They are trying to be VERY VERY politically correct and then we over analize that. At least our congressmen/presidents get years and years to perfect the art of lieing.

Watch the video of the latter. It will cheer you up.dd10snoop28 wrote:I'm not too pleased with his decision, but I mean look what has happened in the last week or so.
Gaines qualifies and Bball lands Jamil Wilson.

Come on Droop, I bet she is a huge football diehard. Bryce was probably stealing her knowlege of x's and o's. It is a little early to take it quite that drastic.

Those are the kinda kids we want here, noy kids who choose a school based on how hot the hostess was.RanDux wrote:Watch the video of the latter. It will cheer you up.dd10snoop28 wrote:I'm not too pleased with his decision, but I mean look what has happened in the last week or so.

evidently he said he didn't think our offense could take him to the nfl. really? ask Jstew JJ. Ask Blount next year I think we all know that reason is bs. If youtr good enough you can play anywhere and make the nfl.

Gotta admit, I like the way Wilson handled his commit and press conference better... Not just because he became a Duck, but because of the classy way he behaved.
Autzen Stadium... Where great teams go to die...Hard!

Terrelle Pryor was saying the same thing about his reason for choosing tOSU... Spread-option is new, and coaches really put it into the recruit's ears that it's not something run in the NFL... But we just have to keep sending players to the big show for it to be proven otherwise. Especially skill positions.cordy02c wrote:evidently he said he didn't think our offense could take him to the nfl. really? ask Jstew JJ. Ask Blount next year I think we all know that reason is bs. I really think this is a blessing in disguise. Brown had "Onterio Smith" written all over him. I'll take a 4-star charachter guy over a 5-star pre-madona any day. Only problem is it leaves us pretty thin a running back and we will need to set this as a priority in recruiting next year....another jc?

Re: BRYCE BROWN TO TENN WOW -- Official Thread
Oregon will probably only go after HS RBs next year unless the top JUCO RBs are really interested and can deliver instantly like Blount did this past year. HS RBs tend to have more potential upside and can be counted on for more years than JUCO RBs. I don't think that Oregon will have a problem getting some RBs next year as the offense has proven itself to actually be very RB friendly and there will be Oregon RBs in the NFL who have been in the spread.twagner wrote:I really think this is a blessing in disguise. Interesting take greenyellow. This also means +1 scholarship for the loaded 2010 class. Though I would have loved to have Brown. A bird in your hand is worth more than two in the bush.
