When is the last time the Ducks had 4 coveted DT's in one class? And they are likely not done yet. You have to be impressed with what Coach T has done in such a short amount of time with the all-star team of coaches he assembled and the number of recruits he has flipped with being so late to the game.

-I'm impressed with what WT has done in a short time
-It's still mostly 3* kids. To be at the level we want, we need to be landing some more 5*/4* guys..but obviously, give it a full cycle and time and we'll see.

In other words, excited, but tempered.

While they're getting mainly 3* kids, they seem to be the types that are late bloomers who haven't gotten anywhere near their final potential and are hungry to prove themselves. Hopefully with the coaches on hand, they develop into great players.

Pretty impressed too. Hoping that our new staff is better at evaluating 3 star talent than our old staff. We might not get as many highly ranked guys as we might like this year, but we do know that we're going to end up with a better class than the old staff would have brought in.

Honestly, I'm not the least bit worried about recruiting with this staff. I think they are going to constantly compete for the best class in the PAC. I'm waiting to see how they do coaching kids up, developing bodies, and managing a game. If we can somehow win 9 games this year, and have a big game against a good team on a National stage, we're going to kill it in recruiting in 2018. Kill it.

Did we even really try to get Pili? He seems like a WSU or Boise type player, not a player Sc would go all in on.

My cousin...who coached him at Westview told me that when Pili got the OSwho offer, he thought for sure that he was gonna be a Beaver. But when USC came in late....he jumped at their offer. Hmmmm.....OSwho, USC.... #Scoducks!

Have to feel good for Pili. He moved away from Alaska for his senior year just to get exposure and it panned out for him. Tip of the cap to a kid who bet on himself and it paid off.
