Yes he is eligible to play, he didn't get into UCLA because he didn't do the optional essay on his SAT. Appearantly that's important to them.

As of now, I haven't been able to find anything about him being related to Bralon Addison.

It's not optional in the UC system. Optional at pretty much every other school. UCLA's admissions dropped the ball by not letting him know.

To me it sounds like he has intentions of playing both ways. So I wouldn’t entirely count him out at reciever

On defense I could see Nickel or Right Corner (Boundary if they decide to go that way instead of left and right).

You would think though with a head coach that coaches on the offensive side of the ball he gets poached like Slick did with Schooler.

Seems like a better fit at WR, we are pretty stacked at safety...can any of them play corner?

Shouldn't damper his commitment. Pretty sweet late get.

Would like to see him at receiver but I will trust the coaches. They are killing it in recruiting.

From what he's said and what Cristobal said today, he'll initially start out at DB but could be moved to WR depending on depth concerns and/or skillset.

I may be wrong, but the second half of summer quarter is starting now and Addison already signed his financial aid papers, so he should be enrolled now. Meaning he's a full go for camp next month.
