Chris said everyone was having an amazing time! his mom wasnt able to watch the second half of the game, because the noise level was too loud  , so she went to go watch it in the lounge. Chris said everyone was going nuts and enjoyng every minute. Dantae williams made a commitment, as well as the qb from kentucky, demarcus smith. He says demarcus will commit once he gets that offer. he said gabe loved it; no surprise. Chris didnt talk to trovon, so im not able to give you an update on that. he did say dargan told him he was wanting to commit. Chris says that was no doubt, the loudest stadium hes ever been too. clemson's stadium doesnt even compare he says. Overall, i expect us to land 80% of the recruits in attendance for that game. I have been texting uko, and no update yet on that. his phone is broken according to his best friend steven bethley. bethley is giving him an earfull after that loss, saying oregons the place you need to go. i was chillen with gabe king the other night walking on 13th in eugene. he says its so hard making a decision when 45 different schools across the nation are after you. he did say that he does love it here and to tell you the truth, im thinking he ends up a duck. you can criticize me all you want, saying hes probably going to cal, but i know all these guys. gabe really sounds like he will be a duck. sorry i havent been on here to post, due to school at the O. im glad to be back and posting on this site, go ducks!
thanks alot for the update man
yeah man, got more to come! ;)

DeMarcus Smith sounds like a pretty good QB. 4 Stars without even playing this year. An interesting tidbit is
Smith of Louisville (KY) Seneca High School had suffered an injury to his left knee.

Today, sources have confirmed that Smith underwent successful surgery on his left knee for a torn ACL.

My source just said Chip is officially back!
It will be announced at Autzen press conference tomorrow afternoon!

He'll fit in perfect. ESPN has him as a top 150 recruit.

If he's that highly ranked with even an injury, I can only imagine he's a top 10 QB talent.

If Dontae is now a commit, why isn't scout showing it? I got the confirmation for Washington today. Curious what the deal is with Williams. Anyone know?

All the pay sites are probably waiting for confirmation from Dontae himself. But we've heard from multiple sources close to him, that he's a duck.

Give it time, and I'm sure they'll have it official soon.

Kinda curious about King. What is it that is draws him to Cal? Weather, curriculum, coaching staff?

He loves the d-line coach down there and he likes the ethnic diversity component. Academics also play a role.

Cal's recruiting pitch when recruiting against the Ducks never changes. They have been emphasizing those two angles for as long as I can remember in head to head battles against the Ducks. Not that there is anything wrong with that, it is just the typical Cal recruiting handbook.

I bet we get more recruits wanting to visit now. We still have ASU and the Civil War to welcome a lot of visitors. This is looking like it is going to be a very special year for the Ducks with a great season and BCS Bowl and great recruiting class (probably the best ever).

Wow, great updates all. Honestly, I'm still in somewhat of a daze about Saturday. I've also never followed recruiting until this year, but it's so hard not to right now. So many solid early guys that are so pro-Duck. McCain sounds like our best recruiter right now.

LOVE IT!

Great interview with Gabe. Those with memberships should read it.

It just really sounds like Gabe is a bit confused and is just going to be patient. The good thing, is we got McCain and his mom on our side. His mom wanted him to commit lol.

Im with TK1 on this one. After talking to him in person, he kept mentioning all the schools after him. He says its really tough, but i think by having two good friends committed, and the fact that hes living in eugene, i think hes a duck in the end! it will be interesting to see how this plays out, because i think hes going to visit some more schools. i will try to find out more. Im not high on Uko anymore. The dudes 75% Usc, even after that beating. But the good thing is hes still going to visit. i cant imagine what our d-line would look like if we had owa, king, uko, and heimuli!
