Looks like Richardson is withdrawing from the draft and returning to Oregon.

Not sure how to feel about this. Yes, UO’s returning leading scorer. Not a fan of his belly fire, and being a ‘quiet’ leader, not sure he will impart a lot on the incoming class. I can appreciate what he has done at UO, while I was not so sorry to see him exit. Can never count on the man, and want to see another player get time that leaves it all on the floor. He probably heard this from his inquiry into the NBA. If he can turn it up for his last season, great. Not sold.

With Richardson's return, Oregon's roster currently looks like this:
PG: Will Richardson, Dior Johnson, Keeshawn Barthelemy
SG: Jermaine Couisnard, Brennan Rigsby, Tyrone Williams
SF: Rivaldo Soares, Luk Wur, Ethan Butler
PF: Quincy Guerrier, Nathan Bittle
C: N'Faly Dante, Kel'el Ware

Probably good guess at this point. They're absolutely stacked in the backcourt and wing spots. I could easily see them go with 4 guards/wings and a big man quite a bit. I suspect they'll have a lineup of Johnson, Richardson, Couisnard, Guerrier, and Dante to start the season.

Next year they could put together a starting five made up of the top 18 Oregon recruits since 2000 per 24/7sports: Johnson, Richardson, Bittle, Dante, Ware. Not likely to see it, since they have crazy talent from transfers, etc.
IIRC Richardson was a conference POY candidate (especially after pouring in 28 against USC) before he got sick. One of the best pure shooters Oregon has ever had. Perfect fit IMHO.

Our lineup looks really nice next year. We just really need a goto scorer and right now we don’t have that. I love Will and he’s one of the best players in the PAC-12 but he is not a #1 scoring option or clutch as a #1 guy. So ya Dior could become that ad a freshman, than I think this squad has a ton of potential.
Our front court is dirty.

Prior to being diagnosed with Mono, Richardson was in the midst of one of his most productive stretches since coming to Oregon... If that turns out to be his new baseline when healthy, buckle up for a fun ride!

Even if we see a backcourt heavy lineup that isn’t like in the past cause there was a shortage of talented big men on the roster. Altman could easily go backcourt heavy one game then frontcourt heavy the next. Heck Guerrier could play the 4 one game then 2 the next!
