I’ll be very curious to see how today goes, it does sound like Oregon missed on their top targets to finish the class. Sounds like Jahkeem Stewart is going to LSU or USC, Pickett is beteeen LSU and Miami, and Offord is sticking with Ohio State. Hope I’m wrong but this could end up being the biggest national signing day letdown under Lanning so far especially if Dallas Wilson flips to Florida or Miami.

Ironic regarding Oregon's challenge to land tight ends this year - the state of Oregon produced 5 tight ends who have signed at former Pac-12 schools and 1 more at BYU.

(No, I don't think any of them are 'Oregon' good, but it's still quite the interesting stat).

Just thinking this has been a pretty dang ideal day so far. Maybe the only slight bummer so far is missing out on Cure, but we're adding Ploog and possibly Olesh, and have Harrison next year (and maybe Brock Harris soon too). So meh.

-Kept Finney/Wilson (I don't think we realize how exceptional this was by our coaching staff)
-Pulled Offord from Ohio State (Most thought Auburn)
-Somehow landed JKS (I was pretty convinced he would go to Cal)

Adding Olesh would be a cherry on top of it all!

Curious that most of Alabama's in state talent is going to Auburn with very little going to Alabama.

Naone going to UW is probably an ideal fit for both the poodles and Naone. He can get the time to develop and have a better chance at playing time.

Cody Siegner from Crane is the guy I would have liked to see us go after but, like Naone, he's going to get a lot of quality attention in Corvallis.

We're at the point where if you're not ready to compete after a RS year, you probably aren't ready for the Ducks and each of them needs time.

Yes. He took a job with a lot more money, more resources, better media coverage, etc. and has his program recruiting 6 spots ahead of his old school despite all the challenges the latter faces.
