Why call Boyd, who is pretty much a lost cause. Adam Hall, who was at the AA game, is who he should be calling!

I am excited to see Harris play, he is going to be huge for the Ducks. He will probably redshirt this coming season but the following season I think he will make an immediate impact!

IMO, I rather have Harris over Boyd.
Now please don't get angry over this, I know that Boyd is a great player, but Harris should be a top 3 corner in the nation form what I have seen.
I have seen his 1 on 1 highlights against some of the best WR's in the nation, and he never lets any WR get open. NEVER.
He was by far the most dominant CB in the Army AA practices. And his recovery speed is amazing!
I expect his to contribute right away and have a great career at Oregon.
I'm a very happy man

I think right now for Oregon, Harris is the best and most important commit for this class. As CB at Oregon, he will have more chances to play major minutes. Boyd would be nice to have but his minutes would be severely restricted since Masoli has 2 more years and Darron Thomas would likely succeed him. Boyd would then really only have 2 years to make a contribution to the team, unless he beats out Thomas. Harris could more than likely be a nickel CB his RS FR year and could push for a starting job the next year if he does indeed qualify and progress at Oregon. Its nice to have some highly rated players commit on defense instead of just offense.

It is strange to me how everyone is calling Harris our biggest commit. Especially in light of how many guys we have had that failed to qualify lately. Let's see if he even gets in before we call him our crown jewel.

I'm not sure the passing game needs help(Thomas/Roper/Costa/Masoli).
But I do know that we need help on pass defense especially with Chung/Bryd gone.
Sanchez threw for 400 yards against us. LOSS
Moore threw for 330 yards against us. LOSS
California QB's combined for 270 yards passing against in the POORING RAIN! LOSS
A Harris commitment>Boyd.
IMO, people need to get off the Boyd story and be happy with this commit.

Top offensive recruits are usually more exciting to discuss, but as far as I'm concerned, top defensive recruits are more important for Oregon right now. When healthy, we always seem to have one of the top offenses in the country. The defense over the years has been a completely different story. We need all the help we can get there, and the top cover corner is a great start. If Harris doesn't qualify for some reason, then we can worry.

Amen bro...Harris is a great commit!
I agree on the Boyd issue, he is top notch talent (we will see what he does at this level) and I want him to commit but all he really does is add depth (not a need yet) and competition to our QB rotation (which makes them all better) and that's good but I still see DT beating him out for the position and he gets his shot after.
Harris will be big-time (I hope)...I still remember Willie Glasper was supposed to be the next big time corner for us! We will see, all these recruits have to prove their worth before I anoint anyone...!
GO DUCKS!!
