lol, this is a ridiculous take. Stein has proven to be one of the best OCs in the country for 3 years, and another guy has 1 good game of play calling, and suddenly he’s an upgrade? That one glaring weakness only shows up against bad opponents, but there is such a talent disparity between Miami and the rest of the ACC it may not matter. Miami has a good defense. I hate Mario as much as the next guy but I’m not gonna act like Miami isn’t a legit really good team this year.
Their handling of Utah was pretty surprising, but other than that they haven't really played anyone. They forget the offense doesn’t exist in a vacuum. They've allowed one sack through five games. The running game is overall solid. It's not the best unit, and it would take a lot of effort to figure out exactly where they stack up, but they're not the worst of the last twenty years. Off the top of my head, any of them featuring Doug Brenner, Jake Pisarcik, and/or the 5'9 walk in from Hawai'i whose name escapes me were all worse.dthomas=ddixon wrote: Sat Oct 04, 2025 8:01 pm
