Well, I’m looking forward to Raiola starting next season.

How about running the ball every play now? Also, Raiola might teach Moore some calm and cool and collected lessons.

Soooo if Raiola has looked this good all offseason and fall camp, why does Dante look no better than he did last year? I thought I heard about how Raiola was gonna push Dante but I haven’t seen it yet. It’s as if Brock Thomas is still the backup. Dante should’ve seen Raiola and know he needed to improve on his progressions and pocket presence. I wonder if Dan promised Dante the starting job if he came back.

Raiola‘s pass to Bidwell coulda been picked by a good team.

Also he will probably get sacked more than Moore.

lol at people here thinking as if we woulda beat OSU with Raiola. Doesn’t fix bad D, dropped passes, and one of the worst offensive line performances ever. Pretty sure he would have been sacked 8 times if he was in.

Anyway great bounce back game! Fun to watch!

How cool was that, that Bidwell gets the TD catch (#89), and his brother was in on the same play (#30) celebrating with him in the end zone. Family party tonight! Good sh*t.

It’s annoying we are seeing Brock right now instead of Akili. He’s a great kid but he has no future at Oregon.

Yup thought the same thing. Such a bummer cuz I do think he could pick up after Raiola.

Ball looks really good. I know it’s not against good players, but really seems like he has natural skills at RB.

Yeah I’m gonna disagree 100%. Sure Raiola doesn’t have the arm skill or talent that Dante has but I’ve seen Raiola progress through his reads in a way Dante simply doesn’t. Dante was apparently sick last week and he was clearly off, and while people get mad at the defense (and they didn’t play well last week) they were out there for 80 plays cause the offense left them dry. If Raiola started last week I think there’s a good chance Oregon wins, sure he doesn’t have the explosion plays Dante has but the offense seems to move consistently with a calm QB that progresses.

But it’s more than Dante, these young RB’s play with speed/decisiveness. Hill is not an every down back, he should be a TAZR like DAT was, but instead Samples and the coaches chose to force feed him and he wasn’t moving the ball, if we saw more Riggs and Price last week I think we would’ve seen more 1st down wins and the ball moving down the field more. This can’t be a team that simply relies on explosion plays like they were last week.

Regardless Raiola is good, and Dante should feel some resemblance of pressure.

At this point, especially after last week, QB minutes are going to those that have earned it. Meritocracy. Might see Akili at San Diego State next year. Bring on the next QB2 to back up Raiola next year that started, or played this year. Seems that is the sauce. Proven talent. I’m super glad to see Tofi, Iheanacho, and Keli get reps. Those guys are the future of the Ducks O-line (if they aren’t poached).
