Every coach in the SEC is a weasel, it's practically tradition. Bryce Brown should be able to see through the BS Kiffin will try and sell him. If he wants to play early, why wouldn't he go to Oregon, who didn't sign any RB's in this class. Miami signed 2 4 stars already. After learning under Blount for a year, Brown could be the go to guy as a Sophomore. That must be pretty attractive and hard to ignore and he really respects CK and how much CK knows football. Plus, didn't he say he liked the feel of Oregon, and how it was a lot like the small town atmosphere of Kansas? I don't think Miami is going to fit him very well, and I don't think he's going to like it very much at Tennessee, but that's my opinion. I still want him to be a Duck so badly. He could win a Heisman in this offense.

I worked the with the Raiders video production team last yr, got a chance to spend some time around Kiff, and watch a lot of his Locker room speeches. All I kept thinking was "man this guy would make an awesome college coach....what is he wasting his time here for?". I am more than worried about a Brown visit to Tennesee. Kiffin is high energy and will do damage in the SEC (just not sept 11, 2010!) Call him what you want, but with the coaches he is up against over there, he's gotta go all out. I've already let go of the idea of gettin Bryce, and I think after his visit to Rocky Top, things will get even more muddled......If he comes, he comes....but watch out for Tennesee......Kiffin is no joke.....believe it or not the Raiders bought in to his system.......it was the culture over there, mixed with an atrocious qb/wr/line that he could not undo in a season and a half.

I don't care what kind of locker room speeches the guy gives, his statement regarding Urban Meyer was classless (and as it turns out completely unfounded). If he wants to throw respected coaches under the bus but can't even get the facts straight, he should probably look into motivational speaking, imo.

I'm not sure there is any Duck fan, who in his/her heart of hearts really doesn't want Bryce Brown. I just think some people are tired of the circus it has become due to his manager (or whatever he is). In any case, calling someone an idiot for stating their viewpoint seems, well, somewhat idiotic. But adding a political jab to try to make your case pretty much cements it.

Yeah..cause Meyer, Saban, and Spurrier and such bastions of humility and grace.....you're right. All I'm sayin' is beware of Tennessee, and screw Urban Meyer anyway!

Looking at Tennessee's commit list and it looks like Kiffen has put together a pretty nice class if you are looking at stars. They have no RB's either. The only thing in our favor there would be that they only have two O-Linemen in the class and neither is very highly rated. I do worry about them nabbing him though. I guess I would rather see him end up at Tenn than USC....

Unless they have an out of conference game, Tennessee and Miami are in different conferences.

Even if ESPN retracted the story, they still list Oregon as BB's leader. Take it for what it's worth.

Oku was a running back they lost, right? On their boards they act like he might come back to them. Anyway, I love how we are lumped into the same conversation as K-State.

I don't think we really know what Bryce is thinking. The people around him and even himself have said so many things that gives hope to every school. He says nice things about every school so you can't really place the schools in any order. I still think he'll end up at Miami with his brother with us finishing second, but I also wouldn't be surprised if he picked another school. His recruitment is a whole lot stranger than Pryor's was since everyone sort of knew that he was OSU-bound even though he was entertaining everyone else's offers.
