The new expectations should be to make the CFP. This was the major hurdle and now the team needs to rest up and take it 1 game at a time.DuckzRule wrote:I hope we can make the CFP this year and get an Oregon vs Alabama matchup.

Agreed. I'm not ready to say we've got the chops to win a national championship. A playoff spot though? That's firmly on the agenda.Duck07 wrote:The new expectations should be to make the CFP. It was nice to see the Oline improve as the game progressed and the secondary hold Ohio state's all american WRs to no big td plays. The offensive was good enough.
Now hoping for Colorado to upset Texas A&M and Notre Dame to be upset as well!

George Wrightster just said Ryan Day told a former Oregon player (didn’t say who) that he was going to embarrass Oregon and run up the score… Bahahahaha

So...
Is Fresno State better than thought, or...
Did Brown and Oregon make a miraculous improvement in 1 week, or...
Is OSU not as good as thought?
Maybe all three?

tOSU is really good. Oregon was likely playing serious possum last week, and Fresno is a good team.stlDUCKfan wrote:So...

Brown played fine in game 1, all the Brown hate was unfounded. If you watched the game, it was the OL who played like poo. They played great today, and DJ blocked, caught and sacked like a mad man.

Stewart Mandel-"From a purely aesthetic standpoint, I much prefer to watch a good spread-rushing offense over a traditional Power-I offense, and Oregon's has been the most fun by far for the past several years. It's fast, its precise, and when Chip Kelly has the right quarterback (Dixon, Masoli) at the helm, the possibility of someone ripping off a 60-yard run exists on nearly every play."
