That's a bit harsh. Go look at our track and cross country National Championships. Recent Rosé and Fiesta Bowl trophies.

I meant in Softball only.
Gotcha!

The last 3 or 4 seasons in postseason play.

So basically every time they've lost before they got to the CSWS. Pretty high standard you're holding them to for something to be considered choking. Seems like anytime they lose it'll be choking and not running into another team playing well at that time.

Choking was probably the wrong term. Disappointing would probably be more appropriate.

Eh I'd disagree with that. In 2010, they beat a top 10 GT team in Atlanta in the regionals and lost to an equally highly rated Missouri team whom I believe had one of the top pitchers in the country. 2011, they went to State College for the regionals and beat Penn State before losing to Florida in Gainesville in the Super Regional. Last year they went to the WCWS and lost to the top ranked team in the country. They fell short this year but I wouldn't call 3 Super Regional appearances and 1 WCWS appearance a disappointment.

yeah, that's bonkers. being disappointed about losing to mizzou and florida in the 2010 & 2011 super regionals is like me being disappointed the pacers are going to lose to the heat in 6 or 7. you're disappointed as a fan because you love your team, but no one on the planet actually thought you'd win. we had NO shot against mizzou or florida, and we lost accordingly.

last year we had a 50/50 shot at texas, and we beat them. and we even won a game at the cws. with one pitcher. it's definitely not choking, and it's only disappointing because you're hoping for more but realistically, you know the team probably defied expectations.

this year was a choke.
