Another huge game tonight. OKC has won 8 straight.
Battle for first place in the west. San Antonio plays @ Minnesota today... I smell a loss for the Spurs. SA is 2-2 against our division on the road.

If we were in the East we'd have clinched a playoff berth already
I really like what I see from this team. I think we finally have some pieces to make a move at the deadline too. Maybe not for a star but maybe an Afflalo if we're willing to move CJ, or Hawes if we trade T-Rob+. I still think we need another reliable bench player since we won't maintain perfect health to our starters all year.

Ya we looked really good against Thunder. Amazing start to the season.
LA's growth this year has really been evident, what a game he had!

I liked in his interview after the okc game when he was called a great power forward instead of a stretch 4. He has started to take over like a great power forward should. Batum needs to continue stepping up. lillard is amazing, he is breaking the all time record for threes made to start his career. We are perhaps one good player or, two in trades, Or one more very good player to great player, off the bench or otherwise from contending for a championship. Stotts was a great hire.

"Portland made 17 of 23 shots from 3-point range for 73.9 percent, an NBA record for a team with at least 20 attempts, according to Basketball-Reference.com. Portland also surpassed its previous franchise mark of 16 3-pointers."

not that there's really much cache in being the best team in the nba in early december, but it's kind of nice all the same.
it's going to be a damn shame when tim duncan gets the starting nod for the AS game over lamarcus.

LaMarcus 31pts and 25reb tonight against the Rockets. 19-4 at this point I have to admit shocks me. Win tonight without a great effort from Lillard. Offense is looking stellar at this point, but are going to need to shore up the defense as the season goes on.

Lamarcus is becoming Lamonster the way he's been playing, could get player of the week for back to back weeks. Who would think before the year Robin scores more then Damien and still win, I think that's the third or fourth time already this season that has happen.

Stotts was great, but Olshay may be an even better hire.lukeyrid13 wrote:+1soduck wrote:I liked in his interview after the okc game when he was called a great power forward instead of a stretch 4. I'm hoping that we can get some decent minutes from CJ after his foot gets better. That will add just a little more depth in the back court. Now, some more front court depth would be nice.

Nice to see LMA really busting out into a premiere player. He's always been talented, but this might be his first true all-star year.bellsduck wrote:LaMarcus 31pts and 25reb tonight against the Rockets. 19-4 at this point I have to admit shocks me.
