Wiltfong cb'd both Griffin and Williams to usc. But both could go to Oregon

Coach D already paying dividends, getting an OV from Griffin. Interestingly enough, Mark Helfrich was the first person to offer Griffin when he wasn't as highly rated.
Hopefully that OV weekend blows them away.

Wow, surprised we were able to snag a visit. Griffin would be huge.

So far, the offers are lagging behind. We offered Vincent Gray after he gets an offer from home state Michigan, and we're beginning to go after Brock Purdy after he's set up an official to Alabama. That's not exactly a winning equation.

There's only a handful of spots. They're taking some last minute flyers.
CMC had to deal with the FWT fallout, hiring coaches, saving the class and the bowl game. I'm willing to cut him a lot of slack

Lot of these kids would not be getting this much attention if it weren't for early signing. Most the best players are off the board. Now the mid-3 stars are getting the treatment from all the major schools because everybody is scrambling to fill their class and the pool has really thinned out. Offers are coming in for some of these kids in multiples on the daily.

Just look at 3* QB Brock Purdy. He was mainly getting looks from Mountain West and lower P5 schools but now he's got an offer from Alabama and several other higher-end P5 schools are kicking his tires. The early signing period has been a boon to both non-P5 schools (no longer getting as many of their top recruits poached by P5 schools) and 2-3* players who developed later than the higher-rated recruits.
