Re: Potential late period signees/visitors
Oregon has offered JC DE Rodney Sopsher, likely so they can at least be in it for his brother.

Oregon has offered DB Jayden Williams, a 3* recruit who's only other offer is from Washington:

Newest recruit to pop up is 3* DL Wisdom Asaboro, a Nigerian athlete going to school in NC who recently reclassified from the 2020 class. He'll be visiting on Feb. 1st.

Dang, I’d love that Asaboro kid. There have been a few Nigerian kids lately that played one or two years of football and became 4-star recruits based on their physical potential. High bust rate, but a few who have panned out. I think Auburn has one. To be cliche you can’t teach 6’8” 270 and you can’t create that elite burst just in the weight room. Looks like a monster at DT with that combination in his Hudl, but kind of reminds me of Arik Armstead where he might make a good OT as well.

According to 247 Sports, it looks like Asaboro is no longer visiting this weekend, leaving just Puka Nacua, Cecil Powell, and grad transfer Juwan Johnson as the last confirmed visitors of 2019.

I just saw that Wiltfong changed his pick for Kristian Williams from Oregon to Undecided. Did he wind up visiting Tennessee this weekend?

Kristian Williams has decommitted from Minnesota. It would be nice if it was a flip, but maybe he's waiting until NSD to announce.

Kyle Ford back locked into USc?
From the writing I've seen, seems like Ford to TrOJans, Puka a UW/Oregon battle(tough without a WR coach), Williams to Oregon, and Johnson to Oregon.
We'll see.

Ford was never a serious option for Oregon. Puka will be a leg lifter, Williams most likely Oregon. Johnson, who the hell knows!GrantDuck wrote:Kyle Ford back locked into USc?

Another Sewell brother is on the transfer market, as oldest brother Gabriel is in the transfer portal and is leaving Nevada.
Nephi Sewell had previously transferred to BYU. Gabriel plays LB, has been a starter since his freshman year and led them in tackles last year.
Not sure if this is a grad transfer, or if we would even throw our hat in the ring, but I wouldn't say no to another Sewell. Especially if he's an experienced LB.

Bet he ends up at BYU or Utah. If Oregon misses out on Heimuli, they may take a shot at Sewell if he's a grad transfer and eligible immediately.GoDucksTroll wrote:Another Sewell brother is on the transfer market, as oldest brother Gabriel is in the transfer portal and is leaving Nevada.
