Anyone see Helfrich on the sidelines? This feels familiar…

I was thinking the same things. About the same timing also.
Yeah. Echos of the Michigan State game.

Unfortunately, the defense has to stay on the field some more. They have to be getting tired of doing all the heavy lifting.

Starting to feel like Cal 2010 where Cliff won it with a punt return

Defense is carrying this team with their big turnovers. Not sure they can live off that kind of boom or bust strategy though.

At this point Dan needs to consider midseason firings of both coordinators.

Absolutely terrible possession by the defense after getting some momentum back. It's clear this team isn't a national title contender.

I get it that they clearly don't want to have Dante run the ball, but why not maybe roll him out of the pocket and just create the threat of him maybe scrambling for chunks of yards here and there? Just dropping him straight back and having him stand there like a tree isn't helping anyone except for OKst.

I know I’m crazy but I think we are seeing a coaching staff that has 0 freakin clue what they’re doing and Dan NEEDS to put some butts on the hot seat. Mehringer is bad, Hampton isn’t much better if at all, our OLine is a mess, our supposedly NFL DLine is getting pushed around by a makeshift OLine with an FCS LT.
At this point I don’t know if I want to see Mehringer, Hampton, Terry, Wasikowski, and Tuioti on the coaching staff next season.

Unless we see a massive turnaround in these final 2 mins we need to switch to QB2 at halftime.

Absolutely
I don’t think that this should be a consideration, this should be an immediate action. Both coordinators are hot garbage, not even close to what a top tier team would have.

Wow we're going through some major growing pains with these new coordinators.
