Or week two, but yeah. Good PSU gets a big payout, so I’m sure they are good with it.

Maybe there is a reason he didn’t join the F*ckeyes.

Weird comment for a player that missed all last year due to an injury. Maybe I'm misreading this though.

Nah, I’m a fan, want to see what he can do. Just don’t get much of a chance. Why didn’t the Ducks play him earlier, If he was cleared to play?

And after he rolled his ankles earlier in the game. Very curious why the coaches decided to put him in there.

Wanted to see Akili earlier. What happened to Harrison?

Are we gonna get killed in the media this week for running up the score now?

I didn’t realize how bad PSU was so it’s hard to know what to make of this game. I’m glad we took care of business but much of our success was due to PSU being terrible (causing their own fumble, not even guarding Dak, throwing easy INTs, etc.) or us simply over powering them.

There were run plays where our OL whiffed their blocks but the PSU defender couldn’t make the play and it turned into a nice gain for us. Those are “successful” plays that obviously won’t be against better competition. A game like this is where you should see the OL absolutely dominating but they were mostly in a stalemate with PSU DL.

Our DL looked better but still doesn’t generate any sort of consistent pressure on the QB. It’s bizarre watching mediocre teams pressure Moore all game while our defense only gets a handful of pressures.

It was great seeing the backups not only play but look fantastic. Harrison and Washington are two genuine freak athletes and it’s awesome to see them already establishing themselves as difference makers.

I was super impressed with Dylan Raiola! He just seemed so much more comfortable in the pocket, he got the ball out quick, and his deep balls were on point. I know Moore supposedly has the better arm talent, but man, if Raiola is our starter next year then we're going to be good to go. Also really like Akili Smith Jr... for personal (nostalgic) reasons, I'd love to see him succeed here. Any chance we have a QB battle next offseason?

Regarding our O-line, I'm definitely not an Xs and Os guy like some others here, but I feel like the backups outplayed the starters. Maybe not consistently, but in the second half the line was actually creating space and time for Raiola to go through his progressions. (Maybe that's why he looked so good.) Harrison looked great, too, and hopefully his injury isn't too serious. I wonder if he'll be this year's Sadiq -- a freak young athlete who should get a lot more playing time than the coaches end up giving him.

The defense was meh. Again, I was impressed by the backups. It's tough to be on the field so much and not allow a single score, but like others I'm bothered by the fact that our D-line just doesn't appear to be dominating anyone. That's a lot of NIL money spend on mid performance.

I remember reading one of the pre-season stories about positional weight gains on the team and how some of the numbers seemed pretty eye-popping. Combine that, and Lanning's leadership comments, and what OregonFan said about his connection, and I really wonder if there was a failure of summer workouts and these guys are just out of shape. They're certainly playing like it. I guarantee that none of them forgot how to play football over the past six months, so there's got to be something going on. Maybe the new defensive coordinator really is that bad. I don't know.

Next week is going to be interesting. Hoping the Ducks have another gear that we haven't seen yet.
