Either Sewell or one of the defensive linemen, Ojomo (committing tonight) or Ossai.
Would love to hang on to Winston and Johnson. If we don't get either one it will be a disaster.
Oregon is not getting Ojomo or Ossai.
TBH, things are not looking good and Jhop is hinting that Williams, Sewell, Winston and Ezeike all go to USC tomorrow

WTF....there'd be no excuses for this staff if that happens...not to mention Jhop.
JHOP is getting most his info. directly from the coaches. Would I like to see him get a wider perspective and not just bow the knee? Sure. But he's getting stuff from the source, or at least as close to it as I've seen on a lot of these sites. If we strike out huge tomorrow, it will be a no confidence vote for the coaches because they are feeding Jhop. If they can't gauge where commits stand that badly, it's not a good look.
The Vegas bowl was strike 1, a recruiting debacle of this magnitude would be strike 2.
I want SO badly to be wrong about this hire, but early returns are not good.
Sounding like Oregon is looking at some backup options at WR and DL for after NSD should the worst come to pass (they miss out on all their top WR and DL commits.) Can't say that will help already nervous Duck fans feel confident in this staff's recruiting abilities. It's looking more and more like Taggart was the main reason for this class' early ranking.

Yeah that's really bad. I'm willing to give this staff a lot of slack but
......
Looking for guys that didn't get an offer after NSD?
Hard to compare Chris Peterson and Cristoball though. Peterson was a high-profile known commodity. Heck, even on Sunday, when Nick Foles caught that TD pass, the announcers were screaming "Boise State!"
Cristoball has no identity yet. When he gets one, then he'll close.

If he's flipping DBs with stories of a single play he called when he was OC at a non-power 5 school then crap, we REALLY missed the boat when we didn't go after this guy.
