Loyd and Armstead really pestered him throughout the series like they have to a lot of others this season.woundedknees wrote:Antoine Young assist to T?O ratio... 1st 3 rounds, 27-0.

Love the way both Armstead and Loyd play D throughout the pac-10 tourney and CBI. I've seen some try to compare Loyd to Porter, which in my humble opinion is crazy, Porter was a short 2 who was a very good at 3 point shooting, while Loyd is a true PG and as a true FR he plays D better than anything Porter did as a SR. He may be small but he isn't a defensive liability when he's in the game, now he needs to work on his offense (maybe watch some tape of I. Thomas over the summer) and we will have a solid PG in the future.

Looked pretty decent on the 2 spot up 3 pointers he made in the game last night.
I am already excited to how this team develops next year. Hope at least one of the bigger recruits (Emory or Kuemper) can step in and contribute relatively early in the season, so the Ducks have the opportunity to allow Brown, Kingma, Barron, and the returning veterans to make a smooth transition into the world of D-1 without Catron.
Not sure where the Ducks would make room if Altman attempted to add any more talent to the pool for 2011... Heck, I'm not sure how room is being created now!
