Only 3 forwards made it... All other first team selections were guards.

Congratulations, Carlos!

True since the rumors about him visiting Okie State is a liitle concerning. Hopefully the guy from LaTech isn't taking his spot instead of Armstead's schollie. Would be nice to have a couple posts coming in.

Prehmmr Matt Prehm
Oregon commit Carlos Emory named 1st-team JC All-American. Colleges all over trying to sweep him away from Altman and Ducks.

Spring signing period runs from April 13th to May 18th, this year.

He's easily one of the biggest steals of this recruiting class.

It sounded like he visited in the middle of the CBI run, so hopefully the fire in this team's belly got under his skin.

Emory sounds like a straight up beast, he wasn't even 100% and he pulled this off. Can't wait to see him play.

Reports say he was 20-30 pounds off his normal playing weight, after being hospitalized in December... What would a healthy Emorybe capable of?

I still don't see him leaving or even visiting somewhere this late. If Dana Altman had gotten him that early
than Emory must of known he would get automatic playing time. I mean everyone knows that. He
wouldn't necessarily received that at other colleges.

That's good to hear. Behind Brown, he's one recruit that I really want to see next year.

Good news from the RG today...

Carlos Emory, who last month made a verbal commitment to the Ducks, said Tuesday he will “probably” sign his letter with the UO today, though it’s only a matter of timing and not any change in his decision.

“There’s no doubt in my mind,” the 6-foot-7 Emory said. “A couple of (other) schools wanted me to take a visit, but I told them I pretty much had my mind made up.”

Nice to hear him solidify his commitment with this interview.
