Well it all but eliminates UT from the BB sweepstakes as I doubt Brian Butler would send both of his top prospects to the same school since they play the same position.
Miami has basically all but pulled out of the race. They have stated they will not pursue anymore 2009 prospects.
So............... who does that leave?
Oregon, LSU, K-state.

and LSU sure has a lot of upper classmen backs on staff already including their leading RB from last year who had over 1,000 yds and 18TD's. NOt to mention they are the early lead for Lache Seastrunk. (this years' probable #1 RB in 2010)

Yeah. But he added LSU late, right? Just like Boyd added Clemson. It makes me wonder if these late visits essentially come from the parents, as they get more worried about a long way to move or travel to see their boy play (i.e., Eugene).

My understanding is that Brown has graduated from high school and would be available to come for spring practice of the school he signs with. True?

I am still worried about LSU. Also, everyone talks about how dirty Snyder is... but I am not really up to speed with it. Is he really dirty enough to try to bribe his way into this deal?

Randy Shannon was on a radio sports show yesterday himself saying they are not accepting anymore recruits for 09. Since Bryce is not one of his players he can not mention him by name. But this was an emphatic message he was sending. Couple that with them not returning the Brown or Butler's phone calls' and Miami appears to be out.
LSU is really the only other school I hear in this race. And from what I hear even they think we might be leading.

You think Chip might have talked to Chris Harper and asked what the deal with Bryce was...and that Chris told him how Bryce thinks about things and weighs different opinion?

Say BB does commit to oregon... his Junior year will be Thomas's senior year...
Stew was a top 2 RB outta high school.. rated number one for most of the year and I think at the very end, ended up number two.. Dixon was a 4 star QB recruit..

Dixon burned his redshirt for a few plays, so did thomas..

So, all that rambling mess just leads me to say, look at the similarities... those two will win us a NC since Dixon and stew were supposed to but the whole well.. everyone knows...

UT thinks that getting Oku helps them because it will be more like the Reggie Bush/Lendale White arrangement Kiffin had at USC.

Besides, they have insiders that say he is a lock for them, "unless something dramatic happens."
