Unfortunately the Ducks will lose...... the wins against Stanford and Oregon State were at home and although Washington State is a bottom of the PAC team the Ducks don't play well on the road or even a neutral site, hell they didn't play too good at home either. Oh well, at least they didn't duplicate the Beavers of last year and got a couple of wins, I am looking forward to 2 years when the team will make a tournament run!!!! Now bring on the football season!!!!!

Wow, Depaul went winless in big east play and then beat Cincinnati in the conference tourny today. So I guess anything is possible for Oregon.

The problem is the tempo, the matchups work fine for the ducks, throw a taller humphrey or a stronger and more athletic sim on rochestie, Rebounding shouldn't be a problem for the Ducks but the problem is we push the tempo against a team that doesn't push it. Its a lot easier to slow the tempo then it is to push it. The ducks should try to slow the tempo and see if they can play a little slower because if they push it they won't win

The game is a microcosm of the whole season so far.... completely lost on offense (well, no offense). I think Oregon has put the ball into the key about 3 times so far in the first half.

Absolutely abysmal on defense. I continue to say it, over and over, but I've never seen an Oregon team play defense this poorly and give up THIS MANY layins, every game, game in and game out (including on in-bounds plays). To every team Oregon plays. Oakland. Northern Colorado. San Diego. Pac-10 teams. The game just isn't that difficult. It is amazing to me how bad this defense is. Boggles the mind.

I agree 100%. Stop with all of the damn 3's already. And where are Catron, Dunigan, etc?

Dunigan is playing lazy. Catron is just having trouble getting anything over Baynes. That series in which Wazu got 4 offensive rebounds while Dunigan stood there and watched the ball bounce around on the ground until they picked it up...no series of plays has pissed me off more this season that watching that. None of them gave any effort to get any of those rebounds. Awful.

Kent has had all season to get these guys fired up and ready to play and it hasn't happened. It has little to do with youth.

and, just since I've posted that, WSU has already had 2 more layins, and 3 more dunks. Same thing, and just keeps repeating, and the announcers are even harping on it. "Well, your field goal percentage is going to be pretty high when you're getting a bunch of dunks". Uh, yeah.

Everyone wants to rip on Porter, but he's the one I see consistently giving effort (despite his one moment this year that got him benched) and honestly he's the only one that creates anything on offense. I can see why he's taking so many shots. Everyone else passes them up and doesn't do anything to create anything for themselves.

Yeah, but the offense is always run through him and only him. I would rather he not take 20 shots and have a coach teach other players to get involved. You know things are bad for Kent when this team cannot even win in the conference tourny. After this performance today and what happened during the season, Kent should be fired. Washington State isn't even that good, and enough is enough.

Look after getting Wilson I really gave a lot of thought about giving Kent another chance. This whole season I have been saying fire kent and bench porter but honestly I want to revoke one of those statements. Porter should be passing up some of those ridiculous momentum killing shots but he really is the only one consistently scoring. But that doesn't excuse Kent. He needs to be fired. He has had many chances with this team. I know Wilson will be a fantastic player but I just don't think Kent should stick around. I mean we lost by ridiculous margins THREE times to wazzu. Unacceptable. With a new arena going up we need a new coach. Keno Davis from providence pops into mind. Mark Few. ANYONE. I would like to wait until Wilson signs his LOI to fire kent but still. He needs to go

This was the worst possible matchup in the tourney for them. Just the complete contrasting styles of play. Even the veteran Oregon teams struggled to score against Wazzu the last couple years. It's just been a frustrating year. Looking forward to next year. It'll be a fun team to watch.

Thankfully it's over. That might have been the worst offensive performance I have ever seen from an Oregon team, and the defense wasn't good either. I don't want to here about WSU being a bad matchup. A good coach learns how to adjust.
