I'm hearing it everywhere too, now the Q is can they play and stay ranked in the SEC?

Also this moves closer to the PAC becoming 16 team conference...PAC12 we barely knew you.

Yeah…now I’m finding reports that Baylor is backing off. WE GOOD!

Next step…16 super conferences…then playoffs.

It's only a matter of time til the SEC moves to 16 teams. Do they do it now? If so what 3 others will they add?

I have mixed feelings on the Super Conferences... I hate Texas with the intensity of a thousand burning suns and would hate to see them be a part of our West Coast thing... I understand that there would probably be two 8 team "divisions" and we'd rarely see them, but just being associated with them in any way rubs me the wrong way.

However if all this leads to a playoff I guess Im cool with it...

Personally, I say do it now..get the all the sexy teams you can get and let the Big East and Big 10 choose from the leftovers.

The big ten I'm sure will expand into a super conference. The little schools are gonna be left in the dust. I think you will start seeing independents try and get into conferences. was the pac8 and how Oregon struggled financially. A 40,000 seat stadium and on a
good day drew 15,000 people if that. Now it's big business. Ok carry on It's past noon

hmmm...in the west just one really...I think A&M will be able to compete in the west. Bama, LSU and Arky are going to be the top three for the next 3 years…but after that, they should have a shot. Look at little ole Mississippi State. They are picking up speed quick.

The SEC is always changing, if you told me 5 years ago South Carolina was the team to beat in the East I would have laughed and laughed.

Same in the Pac I’m sure…I mean if you would of told people back in 2000 the Duck’s would be a major player at the national level would people had believe you? They would of laughed at me if I said that about LSU back then.

I wonder what the reaction of the two newest Pac-12 members will be to adding Oklahoma and Texas. I also question how Arizona State (2 Rose Bowls?) and Arizona (no Rose Bowl) will like being assigned a division with two football elites.

I don't think so... Oregon should have gone to the National Championship game that year... that's not a fan's view, it's the view of virtually every pundit out there.

BTW...I'm now hearing that Baylor is not backing down...so basically everything is clear as mud.

If you went back 20 years and told me LSU was going to be a national player, I would've laughed. And if you think LSU, Bama, and Ark are going to dominate the west for 3 years you're sadly mistaken.
