Oregon-Oregon vs Nevada looked like a PittBull square off with a two-legged hamster! It was that bad. What I liked was 0 TO's, only 3 Penalties, and only 21min of possession to score 69pts! It's a good sign!!
Stanford-They are as advertised! They are balanced in their attack on offense and there defense is one of the best untalked about and underrated defenses in the nation! They have only given up 57 total rushing yards...IN THE LAST 2 GAMES COMBINED!!!
ASU-They are very good and capable of beating Oregon and Stanford if they caught them on the rite day. ASU dose not have to play Stanford during the regular season, so they would only have to play them once in order to win the PAC12. That helps!!
USC-They have as much talent as any team in the nation! They have won there last two games, but not as convincingly as many thought they should have. USC is still a force to be reckoned with and is still one of the best teams in the conference. I am confident that they will put it together and possibly give ASU, Oregon, and Stanford a fight, if not win!
AZ-Nick Foles is one of the best QB's in the nation and he has some very good WR's. This team may have gotten throttled by a very good OSU team, but don't underestimate them. They are very well capable of ruining anybody listed aboves dreams of a BCS game.
WSU-I am moving WSU out of the bottom feeders category and slightly above the “not going to a bowl” category...not much, but a little. Why?
- M Lobbestael-34/32, 361yds, 5TD's, & OINT's.
- Back-to-back thrashings of lesser opponents=2-0
Cal, Utah, UC, UCLA, and UW are all decent teams that can pull an upset on any given day and it's likely one or two of them will. However, these teams will sit in the middle of the PAC and beat each other with no consistency except none (1 if we are lucky) will get to bowl eligibility.
OSU-The new bottom feeder!!
Misc:
Bama-The best defense I think I have ever seen!! No team will line up with them in any kind of traditional offense and beat them. The only way to beat Bama would be to spread them out, but even then...
Can't wait until LSU and Bama hook up!! At this point I have to say Bama has the advantage, but there is still a lot of football to be played!!
UGA, UF, Miss St, and Tennessee are to the SEC, what Cal, UCLA, Utah, UC, and UW are to the PAC12. The only difference is that most of them play 4 weak OOC games so some, if not all, will go to bowl games!
UK and Ole Miss are the bottom feeders of the SEC this year. Vandy might be a little better, but not much!
Opinions??
