How do you like LSU's chances at Miss St?

In the last two games Miss St has allowed opponents to complete 67% of their passes and have given um 4.8 yards per rushing attempt.

Mss St offense has look good completing 61% of their passes and averaging over 6yds per rushing attempt. However, the defenses they were playing were not great!

I would be surprised if LSU did not run away with it!

This is actually one of the three games that I was worried about the most going into this season. After watching State play a couple thought, I think LSU will do fine. Miss State has what it takes to beat any team in the SEC and they have played well, but they have not faced an LSU quality defense. I do not know about running away with it, but I would be surprised if LSU does not walk away with a win.

I’m hoping that Florida State knocks off Oklahoma this weekend by the way…should be a good game.

If they win it will be by three or less.

I wonder what Toledo's chances are...anyone watched Toledo play this year?

ETA: Sh*t they lost last week to Ohio State by 5….maybe Boise should be on upset alert.

I understand that not everyone is going to be in love with Oregon, but Ray Ratto putting us at #23 and Doug Lesmerises at #22 is a total joke.

Yeah I can't believe that they think 22 and 23 crazy. They must be either Oregon St fans or SEC fans.

Trust me when I say that the majority of SEC fans want y’all ranked as high as possible for strength go schedule purposes. The higher you are ranked, the better our win looks, and the tougher all of the SEC schedules look with us on it.

I’m personally hoping that the Ducks, West Virginia, and Alabama all finish in the top ten…all under LSU of course, but in the top 10. :D

ETA: Oh, and y’all being ranked anywhere lower than 15th is ridicules. Y’all are the only 1 loss team in the top 15 right now so 12-14 is far. After a win this weekend and after the Oklahoma vs. Florida State game, y’all will probably be back in the top ten after this week.

But with Oregon playing Missouri State, the pollsters will probably not consider Oregon for any possible advancement.

hmmm....this is true. Y'all might be stuck in the upper teens for another week.

I'm not worried about the polls at this point. No one else has a loss and there are only 3-4 games that really affect the polls at this point in the season still. Once we get into October and into conference play then everybody will start dropping games and we can start to look at/worry about rankings then

#1 Oklahoma and #5 FSU play on Saturday... depending on the outcome there might be room to move up a spot or two.
