Jefferson, Johns case goes to Grand Jury tomorrow

Post by Bud Lee »

BLAH…what a mess. The DNA testing came back with nothing they can use, the two videos show JJ is wearing different clothing than the attacker, and the only evidence against the two is the testimony of Lowery and his lady friend.

I have no idea what happened to the other three alleged victims, nor do I have a clue what would happen if in two weeks if the grand jury comes back with a “no bill” and JJ and Johns get the charges dropped.

Personally, I think the best thing to do is red shirt JJ and let him play next year if this is the end of it.

Seems to me Jefferson may have a potential defamation suit on his hands... Too bad the other dude doesn't have anything worth taking (Girl friend included).

I really feel bad for the kid…this seems to be shaping up to be a wrong place at the wrong time type of thing.

I hope that he will come out of this ok as LMJ did.

Oh, he was doing fine until the dumb sh*t stuck his hand out in traffic trying to hitch a ride while he was drunk and on lortab as a truck was passing him by. The truck ended up hitting him in the arm, and then Lowery (the guy that got kicked) was caught in a lie when he attempted to blame the accident on the driver, when he was confronted with witness saying otherwise he quickly changed his story….oh wait…you were being sarcastic wasn’t you.

You know what…the more I hear about the alleged victim the less I feel sorry for him. He has a criminal record, he is accused of stalking his ex-girlfriend ( that apparently is a part of what started the fight) and he is said to have been the one who started the fight according to witnesses that will testify tomorrow.

I feel about as sorry for him as a do the two guys that picked a fight with Mike Tyson outside a bar back in the 90’s.

Getting his hand hit while hitchhiking is only fitting for a such a jerk.

Just to clarify, I don’t condone violence. I’ve been in many fights, none of them that I started and many I was simply defending myself or another. There is a point in defending yourself though, that you most stop, or you will become the aggressor. Maybe that is what happened here….maybe not.

The thing is….so far there is no concrete evidence connecting Jefferson and the team to this fight other than them being there and the testimony of Lowery (a proven liar) and his lady friend. I’m sorry the kid got injured, but from what I hear from people that was there, he was the initial aggressor and Jefferson didn’t touch him. Maybe they are lying…Maybe Lowery is…we will see what the grand jury thinks shortly.

The thing is in this country we have evolved from “innocent until proven guilty” to “if the police said he did it he did it.” So now, it matters not if the accusation is found to be false, the presumed guilt will follow JJ everywhere. Which is why I feel bad for the kid. Now if it turns out that he is guilty…then he deserves everything he got/gets.

Husky and beaver fans still call LMJ a "girlfriend choker/beater" or whatever other clever name they can come up with, which still kinda bothers me.... But also f*** them.... So there's that.

I hope JJs innocent in this whole mess.... Seems like he got kinda railroaded....
