Great story. I hate that "wussification" rule. There are so many restrictions like that permeating youth sports and activities. Some people need to understand that there are valuable lessons that we learn in defeat. Losing shapes character in kids, parents have a golden opportunity to mature their children when these events arise. In addition if you don't want the kid to score tackle him! I can't stand the fact that they would force a child to roll over and not maximize his potential. In attempting to "help" kids feel better by forcing more skilled kids to restrict their abilities do they think about what that does to the child who is being told to NOT do his best?

Very confusing...

It should be noted the rule applies only to 6th graders and below.

You are confused, where did this imply he was not to do his best? They did not tell him to not score, or to not try. But after he scored three touchdowns it was someone else's turn to try.

The kid shows some moves and some speed, but lets face the facts....There was no organized defense to confront him.....Too young and too early to annoint this kid as anything other than possibly being faster than other kids on the field.....Time will tell, but most likely the opposition will catch up as their game matures some and as actual defenses present themselves...The video reminded me of watchin my nephew play soccer at age 6....Wasnt really soccer...More like a swarm of bees following the ball...
