Im in the process of collecting information on how the Junior Day went for Oregon only recruits recently.

So far I have been able to confirm only 4 players.

TE Curtis Whitehttp://www.oregon.rivals.com/viewprospe ... _key=79336

QB Jordan Johnson-5'11 180 pound DT QB from Sheldon(Teammate of White) that threw for 2500 yards 21 TDs 10 INTs and rushed for 900 yards and 17 TDs. He was League MVP as a Junior, All State, and was 1st team all league as a SO. Almost dupiclate numbers as a Sophomore. Coaches Son.

DL/OL Derek Neilson-6'4 280 pounds from Sheldon(White and Johnson teammate). I dont believe Neilson will be a scholarship target for Oregon but should be a walk on target.

ATH Keanon Lowe-http://www.oregon.rivals.com/viewprospe ... 36&sport=1

EDIT:3/15

WR Spencer Coleman-Coleman is a 6'5 WR from South Eugene who I believe had close to 1000 yards but played for an 0-10 team. Granted that was in the hardest league in the state at the highest level. South's program is very raw and low on talent after Lokombo transfered and that left Coleman stuck by himself. He is also a high level basketball recruit which will be interesting to see.

There was also some players from Southridge HS from the Portland area and others. I am trying to get names with the faces.

Mops,

Derek will be a scholarship football player for someone. This kid is still growing and comes from a family of good athletes. These are the kids we can't continue to lose to OSU. He has grown up
tailgating and going to Duck games with his family. This kid should be locked up early he is exactly the kind of athlete that we need to keep in state at Oregon.

We have too limited a number of scholarships for him (IMO of course)

And I'd question whether Jordan Johnson is really 5'11... Dude's short

Grayshirt candidate perhaps?

There are not many scholarships available for the next recruiting class, but the following year there will be plenty of scholarships to go around.

Well that makes sense. I was wondering why they were all from Oregon, . And wasn't Jordan Johnson 5'11" his freshman year?

You mean Spencer Coleman. Cam is not 6'5 and he definitely did not have those stats. You for sure mean Coleman

Correct. I got my names mixed up.

However, latest reports from the Register Guard prep reporter and South's coach has him at 6'5 with close to 1000 yards.
